(a great book if you haven't read it)

Times come by that are super difficult. But you MUST see past them. You must see past your anger, your stubbornness. Past your desire to be right. Past your barriers of pride. See past WHATEVER the other person is doing. See past the hurt. See past the past. See past your laziness. See past your fight. See past today and even past tomorrow.

We must FIGHT for our relationships.

If there is one person in your life that you purposely try to avoid. That you pretend to be on your cell phone when they pass by. That you try to make small talk with and then pass on to the next person. That you feel too "good" to be around. That you make your schedule works so you don't see them. That you don't talk to. That you have purposely chosen to not visit for years.

They should be your number 1 priority behind loving God with all your Heart.

If you do the first the second should come a bit easier. But do hard things. We were made on this planet to live with people, not ignore them. I don't care if they talk your ear off, are annoying, smell, eat all your food, are ugly, have an annoying laugh, always gossip, ect... Every one of them was made by and every one of them deserves a chance.

God has taught me a lot about my character these last couple days... the things we avoid in life are the very things that are holding us back. Stop waiting for the other person to talk. Stop waiting for the perfect moment. And stop waiting for yourself to suddenly feel better. If you don't confront it, it will always haunt you.

And I guarantee you, if you do confront it, you will be filled with peace...

So, DO HARD THINGS.

Blessings,

Lucas
