it's snowing in Peru!!!

So we went to the mall today and like any mall there is a giant tree right. But when the clock struck 8 I knew this was no ordinary santa set-up. The music began. The children rushed to circle the tree. And then it happened.

Snow.

And it was real. Well, okay it was frozen water in it's best form you can get it frozen floating through the air in like 80 degree whether. Nevertheless, the children had heads covered with snow (inside the mall). It was a thing of utter amazement. I even had to remind myself that this was a mechanical attempt at the real thing. I just go so excited I kind of lost myself a bit.

Anyways, my family and I did a little christmas shopping. Or at least the girls did. It reminded me of being in the mall with Holly and Mom. Entertaining myself with singing random and strange songs while they are in the dressing rooms.

Then we went to see... Santa. Honore was a bit timid. But I'd consider that normal when an old man is asking you to sit on his lap. So we decided it would be best if we took a family christmas picture from Peru:-) So everyone... (this is my christmas card) Merry Christmas from the Melendez family in Peru. Love you all and have a very happy holiday season.

(note how excited Honore was for this picture;-) haha priceless. ;-)

Blessings,

Lucas
